As a Speaker at the Google Women Tech-maker Conference
As the keynote speaker at the 2024 Google Women Techmakers event, I had the privilege of sharing my journey as a woman in tech. During the talk, I reflected on my personal growth, the challenges I’ve faced, and the valuable lessons learned along the way. I discussed strategies for navigating the industry, building resilience, and the importance of fostering a supportive community for women in technology. It was an inspiring opportunity to connect with other women in tech and empower the next generation of leaders with my experiences and insights.
Host of Design Thinking Workshop
I led a design-thinking workshop in Wuhan, China, guiding participants through user-centered design principles and real-world challenges. By combining hands-on activities with design theory, I helped attendees refine their design process, enhance skills, and create innovative solutions.

During an innovation-themed roundtable discussion, I had the opportunity to exchange ideas and engage in meaningful dialogue with fellow designers. We explored various design approaches, shared insights on the latest trends, and discussed how innovation drives the evolution of design in solving complex challenges. This collaborative setting fostered an open exchange of experiences, allowing us to learn from each other and reflect on how to push the boundaries of creativity in our respective fields.
As a Speaker at China IXDC Conference
As co-hosts at the IXDC conference, my colleague Mian & I presented on the topic of service design. We explored how service design extends beyond traditional product design by focusing on the entire user journey across various touchpoints. In our session, we discussed methodologies and strategies for designing seamless services that address both user needs and business goals. Through case studies and real-world examples, we emphasized the importance of integrating service design into the broader UX framework to create cohesive, user-centered solutions. Our talk and workshop sparked thought-provoking discussions about the future of service design and its role in shaping meaningful user experiences.
Lead Workshops on Banking Projects
I led a workshop for a banking project, focusing on refining business processes and exploring new business directions. The session involved conducting in-depth user research to help the bank better understand its target customer segments. Through collaborative discussions, we worked to identify strategic opportunities and streamline existing operations to improve efficiency and align with future business goals.
Organizer of Beijing UX Design Community Events
As the leader and organizer of the Beijing User Experience Design community for the whole 2016, I organized multiple events focused on promoting design innovation. One of the most notable was a session where I invited professors from the Politecnico di Milano and Tsinghua University to lead discussions on key design topics. This event facilitated an exchange of cutting-edge design insights between local designers and global experts, reflecting the community’s dedication to advancing user experience design.
Training Workshop for China Vocational School Teachers
I led a design-thinking workshop for vocational school teachers from across China at Tianjin University of Technology in 2016. The workshop focused on user-centered design and practical problem-solving skills. After the event, I was interviewed by a local media outlet to share insights on the experience.
